Great Product
Fit was excellent. Sits comfortably below the knees. The padding is fairly thick so it helps with the long rides. Wore these in 40 degree weather and it was a bit chilly. Would recommend having an additional layer on top of these if you plan to ride in cold weather.

Men's Pearl Izumi's
Geat product! Very comfortable. The material is very good. I rode with them for the first time and the temperature was cool outside. I stayed very warm througout the ride.

Pearl Izumi Attack Knicker
Finally! A men's lycra type knicker that does not have shoulder bib supports! Pearl Izumi made the same style for men years ago but for about a decade, and to my chagrin, the regular style knickers were reserved for women only. The argument was that men, with presumably narrower hips, needed over the shoulder supports to keep the short from riding down and exposing the lower back (men should just lose their bellies). I do not buy that argument nor have I ever found the bib style appealing in any kind of cycling wear. These are a non-brushed lycra, are very comfortable, have a good chamois, seem well made and offer a great fit. I have a pair of 8-panel Pearl knickers purchased back in the late 80's that I still wear on occasion, which by the way look better than anything they are making today. These knickers are not as nice looking as those because they are not a true "wet" or "shiny" black, but have more of a very dark gray appearance. Also these have flat-seemed stitching, common...

Fabulous for plus size gals!
This is 1 of 3 pairs of biking knickers I have purchased, and has quickly become my favorite! Let's start with the fact that I am both plus sized (22-24) AND tall (6'0"), so I have a really hard time finding clothing that fits well. These knickers fit well in every aspect. I don't feel like the waist is going to roll, I have adequate coverage onto my back, the little grippers on the leg openings keep them from sliding up, and the chamois is the most comfortable of any of my knickers. I also have the Pearl Izumi Superstar Knickers and have problems with rolling, inadequate back coverage, and the legs sliding up. Definitely go with these! The ONLY complaint I have about them, and it is very minor, but still... is that the elastic in the waistband is very thin and twists very easily. I always have to take a moment after I put them on to get it to lay flat again. I hope in future iterations that Pearl Izumi will simply use wider elastic.

Great Spin Class Pants
I bought these pants to wear to spin class. They're great. They fit true to size, the moisture component keeps me cool in class and doesn't make me smelly and avoids sliding on the seat. It took a bit to get used to the padding but it definitely helps alleviate the strain after an hour on the bike. The little glue ball things on the inside of the pant hems keeps them from riding up and keeps them in place. Plus the calf length is such a great difference from the 80's style biker shorts. The last (and probably most important part) is that they have a high back. This means that while you're bent over your bike & your top rides up, your back is still covered!

Super cute and comfy!
I ordered these a few days b4 a mountain biking trip to Sedona...They are VERY flattering and comfortable. The only problem I see is the fabric is a wee bit thin...You can almost see skin through them. I do think they are great for summer riding and are true to size! I would buy them again!

love to run in these
All the females in my family now has a pair of these knickers. The fit is solid. The fabric is stretchy enough to mold the leg and buttock muscles tightly. I feel that I don't jiggle as I jog/run and it mentally helps me feel fitter. Washes really easily. The pocket in the back holds my carkeys, phone and money for my Starbucks after my morning run. It holds the ipod that my kids love to use while exercising. I use them for my pilates class and my instructor loves the lines on the side so we can get the 90 degree angle for my bent knee. I would purchase a pair again.

good stuff
I bought these knickers because the weather is getting slightly cooler, but it wasn't cold enough for full length tights and too cool for shorts during some of my runs. I received these and love that there was a compression-like feel that offered support for my leg muscles, but not too restricting. Some of the tights that I looked at the fabric seemed too thin and somewhat see-through. These knickers felt like it was of more substantial material. The length on me is just perfect. I am 5'4" and it hits me midcalf.

Perfect knickers!
I've been gym climbing for the past few months. My normal shorts are cut off stretchy pants that are getting rather torn up. I purchased these in charcoal size small (im 5'10" 155lb with a 30" waist). They fit superb!! I was hoping the material was top notch considering the price and they totally are. I'm 100% sure I will purchase more prAna gear...dont pass up if you are looking for shorts / pants for hiking or climbing...spend the few extra bucks.

Very comfortable
I never liked wearing shorts, but being an urban cyclist for ten years allowed me the opportunity to fall in love with cycling knickers. I had a Chicago WIG pair which I loved (he doesn't make em anymore ): ) that needed replacement. Chrome I heard was realy nice but I couldn't justify dropping $140. Quick search on amazon gave me these and I love them. Very light, very comfortable, no reinforced crotch for cycling, but that's okay. Will probably get some more soon.

Great cycling option, but needs adjustable waist
I am a daily bike commuter in Seattle. My pet peeve is cyclists that walk through the office in their tights. I prefer bib knicker cycling shorts, so I bought a pair of this pants to wear over my tights thereby preventing my office mates from seeing my junk. This was 2 years ago, and these pants are still going strong. After 2 months of wearing a pair of navy, I bought 2 more colors - a white and olive green. They are very durable, have withstood countless washes, dry very quickly (important in Seattle weather), and are very comfortable. I can wear them in the summer over a chamois liner or in the spring or fall over top of 3/4 bib knickers. Which brings me to the only con. Many mountain bike shorts have adjustable wastes. Part of this is to accommodate different waist sizes (usually, MTB shorts come in S/M/L/XL, so the adjustable waste is important). This isn't an issue for me, as the Size M fit my 32 inch waist very well. However, when I wear them over my heavier...

knicker capri bike shorts
Despite the length these knickers are a great material for warm summer days as they are a bit thinner than my other cycling shorts. I was looking for an capri alternative to my 5" inseam and these fit the bill but they are a bit too long for me. I guess I should have measured! I am only 5'2" and these are just long enough to make me worry about them interferring with the gears. Fortunately the material is flexible enough to either fold over or pull up a bit in the thigh area until I can get them hemmed. I am 130# and ordered the medium so there is more give. I think a small would have fit too but personal preference is not skin tight. They are comfortable for medium length rides (20-25 miles) but I havent been able to get out there to see how they perform on longer distances. I especially like the...
