Best padding I've tried.
I'm relatively new to cycling, but of the 5 different brands that I've tried, these bib shorts have provided the most comfortable ride. The padding is relatively thick, making longer rides of 30+ miles much more tolerable!

I love these babies!
Purchased these as my first pair of bib-shorts. I had been using a much cheaper generic brand cycling short that I was actually very happy with. However, I was given a jersey and was worried my crack would hang out with the regular shorts so I picked these up.As far as I could find, these were the cheapest well-reviewed bib-shorts available. Of course I'd heard of the Pearl Izumi brand, but had never wanted to shell out the big price. I'm very glad I did! The day after I received these, I completed a 55 mile lake ride and they were amazing throughout. The padding is very adequate, the grippers on the leg bottoms are comfortable.Normally, I order a large in cycling shorts, but I actually ordered an XL in these and they fit perfectly.Will absolutely be ordering another pair of these!

Awesome!!!
This is my first cycling bib.My waist is 34" and the Pearl Izumi website says M is my size but I've got L.I went to the store and tried on PI's bike shorts and I couldn't fit my thighs in size M.My thigh circumference is 23.5" and right after biking it gets to 24".I'm 5'8" and size L is perfect for me length wise, waist, thigh, and hip.The front comes up about 1.5-2 inches above my belly button and it supports my belly just fine after big lunch.The front is tailored short than the back, so when I walk around in it, it just feels weird. But that makes it perfect on my bike.The gripper around the thigh area keeps the fabric where it should be and the gripper doesn't feel uncomfortable at all.Chamois dries fast enough, so on a dry day if I wash it in the morning (~9am), I can wear it at around 5pm.If I wash it early in the evening it's ready for 8am ride next morning.

awesome!
I was always hesitant about bibs but decided to give them a fair shake and was very impressed with these. They have a lot of breathability and still offer excellent support to the abdomen especially for long rides for those who ride in a very forward/aggressive position. I am a believer and these are great!

Exactly what I wanted
This is exactly what I expected.I upgraded from an old $15 pair with almost no padding. I used the PI a day after a 23 mile ride with my old shorts through San Francisco, which destroyed by butt! The PI relieved almost all the pain on my ride 2 days later. There is minimal pressure with the PI bib shorts.I am a waist 33 and fit comfortably in the Medium. The shorts do not ride up on me. The grip on the legs is not uncomfortable, you can't feel it. I have not noticed any irritable points in the Bib shorts. I am extremely happy with them.I also did a lot of research before I settled on these Bib shorts. I found these to be a very good price compared to other makes and models from various sporting good stores.

Once you go bib, you won't go back.
I was one of the last in my riding group to go with Bibs instead of shorts/long tights, and I am REALLY glad I finally made the switch! I have been really impressed with all the Pearl Izumi stuff I own, and these are no exception. Very good workmanship in the seams and overall fit feels really nice. The sizing chart is accurate. No more worrying about my jersey pulling up in the back and having exposed skin... I always stay nice and covered up with these on, even if I wear one of my cheap-o jerseys that don't fit me right. HIGHLY recommended and worth the price IMHO. I have also worn these with long tights over them (during winter) and the double shammy hasn't really effected my riding negatively at all.

The Bib works great...very pleased - comfortable and functional. As a large man I found that the XXL size was ample. It does not suffer from the "undersize syndrome" that many cycling apparel products do.Good value and Quality is comparable to the shorts.

Similar to other equally priced bib shorts, with one exception
As the title says, these are similar to other equally priced bib shorts, with one exception, which I will address in a minute. I also own bib shorts from Bellwether and Louis Garneau, all "budget" priced. I don't need a high-tech pad, I apparently have an iron bu**, so I don't feel strong differences between the three. They are all fine.Sizing-wise, all fit me just fine (I am 5' 11", 148 lbs): straps are long enough and don't bite into my shoulders. The leg grippers on the Bellwether feel most secure, but none of them ride up.All seem reasonably well-made, none are fraying or showing signs of wear.In short, they are all good bibs.The one beef I have with the Pearl iZUMi Men's Attack Cycling Bib Short is that when you have to "go," it is practically impossible to pull down the front of the bibs, like I do with the Bellwether and Louis Garneau bibs.

Very good bibs but----
I have had these bibs for six months now and must say they are very nice. The Pros- Chamois is excellent and the quality and fit is great. I have purchased two of these bibs and have used them for Centuries and other long rides. Great comfort.The Cons- The bands on the bottom of the bibs that go around the quadriceps both have stretched out to the point they almost flap in the wind. (This has also happened on two other PI shorts I purchased that are a lower grade.) I hand wash my bibs immediately after each ride so I definitely take care of them. Also, the bibs developed small holes on the sit bone areas. This was due to a bike store employee who raised my seat too high which he said would improve my performance. I have since purchased Louis Garneau bibs with thicker quad bands.

Nice fit, fancy fabric
The nicks were as stated on the ad. Medium fit for size (I bought large, I'm 6'/181cm tall with a short body). Great chamois, thick multilayer fabric feels tough and well constructed but breaths really well and doesn't feel hot.Cut shape bunches a little when standing around the coffee shop but fits great on the bike.

Fantastic price, great quality Bib Shorts.
I just received my order for these shorts a few days ago, and have taken them out on two road rides so far. What I have seen (and felt) from these shorts has been outwardly positive. Firstly, considering the price of these shorts compared to similar products online, they are a steal. Secondly, the quality and performance of the fabric is similar to other high-end bib shorts I have. 30 miles into a ride I experienced no bunching / tugging / ect. The garment tightly (but comfortably) fits to the body, and the second you put it on you forget that it is there. I only bought one pair initially thinking this price for this product was too good to be true. Better than expected.
I have not been able to take these bibs out on a ride yet, but I can say that the quality of materials surprised me when considering the price. They feel very comfortable, and they seem as if they will last. We are just thawing out here in Utah, but I will update the review if there are any issues with the bibs. Another feature that surprised me was the chamois. Usually in this price range, you would have to settle for a pad that looked like it came from a grandmother's sowing collection; but this one rivals some of the pads in my Pearl Izumi shorts (once again, I will update if the chamois is not as it appears). The only reason I have given 4/5 stars is because the mesh in the back comes down pretty far and may reveal a little crack. This may be the manufacturer trying to keep the user cool, or it may be due to a little winter bedonk-a-donk butt on my part...who knows! The sizing seems accurate. I wear a 32-33" waist, and the medium fits well.All in all, I am happy...
