Good Jacket, Sized a little small
I shopped a while and read many reviews before selecting this jacket. It has been a very good purchase and I would recommend it to others. So far, I have used it from 30 degrees to 60 degrees (F), always with a base later. It is a bit too warm for 60, and seems plenty warm for the going below 30 degrees.The removable sleeves are a great feature, but I have to agree with other reviews about the zippers being a little delicate. I have been careful with the zippers and have not had any failures. But, I would advise not to take the chance of removing the sleeves while riding, especially wearing winter gloves as you could easily break the zippers.The jacket is not as wind-proof as I would have liked, especially on a descend after your base layer is a little sweaty from a climb. On colder days, I have opted to carry a spare base layer and changed at the summit of a climb and have had good success.I am 6'2" and 185 lbs and ordered the XL. The...

Versatile, warm, good against the rain, and high quality
Got this jacket at the start of the fall riding season. Liked the fit right away and the quality is good too. Especially liked the ability to remove the sleeves in just a few seconds. This lets you use the jacket in the chilly morning ride to work then have a nice gillet to wear on the way home when it is a bit warmer. Really like the versatility. I've also been impressed with the ability of the jacket to turn water yet remain breathable. Got caught on a return ride (3 hours) in the cold steady rain wearing this jacket, a mid-layer and thermal T. The jacket turned the rain like a champ and I was comfortable the entire 3 hours. Very pleased with the jacket and would highly recommend it. For the value, the price is not bad at all.

Fantastic
Expensive, but worth it. Simply amazing, I ride with it all winter, and since I usually run hot being able to dump the sleeves is great. The only bummer about this thing is the lousy zipper. For this price, the zipper should be a LOT better. Yes, it's a YKK, but it's prone to get stuck, or zip improperly. I have to be careful when zipping it up. This material is soft, and windproof. On top of that, it is amazingly water resistant. Did a lot of rain rides last year and was amazed at how dry I stayed. Highly recommended.12/26/11Update. I noticed that Amazon had a couple of the colors on sale ($135!!) and I decided to get another one despite the front zipper issues. I went with black becausemy yellow one has gotten really grungy looking and I can't get it to look really clean anymore. Bummer. Got it from Amazon for less than $70 and is great for GF
I got this for the GF after having a couple for myself. Amazon had a really crazy low price. She loves it. Likes the color, fit etc. The woman's sizes are VERY much smaller than the men's. She tried on my men's medium and it was not fitted to her and quite oversized. The woman's medium is just the right size for her. Same good quality as the men's. The only real complaint for these is that the main zipper is not of the same quality as the Countdown and likely will be the first part to fail...

Great jacket
I purchased this jacket to wear while cycling in the mid 30's. The jacket is warm and yet it allows for some ventilation. I wear a base layer and a long sleeve jersey underneath. I have not tried it in the rain neither have I removed the sleeves yet. I purchased and returned 3 jackets prior to buying this one. The material is soft yet sturdy and the fit is figure flattering. I'm 5' 7'', 135 lbs and the medium fits perfectly with 2 layers underneath. I highly recommend it.

Great Versatile Jacket
Decided to try this jacket, tired of wearing multiple layers to ride in our weather. I live in the south, where some mornings our rides may start with temps in the 30s and end with temps in the upper 50s/lower 60s. This jacket is great because it is so versatile. I usually wear a thin layer underneath, long sleeve if really cold (30s), short if a little warmer. If I start to warm up too much, I just unzip front and/or pits and let a little air in. If it gets really warm I can take the sleeves off. Great buy for me!!!

great all weather jacket
my wife uses it to commute to work (10 miles) - works well under most weather conditions. She likes the conversion option, and that it is really windproof. If interested make sure that you check for the correct size, we had to order a larger size then she typically wears. One minor point: for a bike jacket, they could have used a brighter color (but those had not been on sale when we bought it). overall very good quality of material and zippers. no large pockets, but not needed when biking - all in all she is very happy with her birthday present
