The two-tone motif gives this jersey a sporty, yet feminine look. The slim cut makes it a versatile summer piece that can take a hard morning in the saddle, a Gran Fondo, or a short race. A short, concealed front zipper offers ventilation in a hurry on hot days. Mesh inserts on the upper back allow heat to escape quickly and air to make its way in for cooling. Flat-lock seams minimize chafing, and although this isn't a race-oriented piece, there is ample storage in the classic three-pocket design in the rear.To make sure the jersey stays in place, Gore added a partially elastic gripper on the hem. Got it from Amazon for less than $70 and is great for GF
I got this for the GF after having a couple for myself. Amazon had a really crazy low price. She loves it. Likes the color, fit etc. The woman's sizes are VERY much smaller than the men's. She tried on my men's medium and it was not fitted to her and quite oversized. The woman's medium is just the right size for her. Same good quality as the men's. The only real complaint for these is that the main zipper is not of the same quality as the Countdown and likely will be the first part to fail...

Great jacket
I purchased this jacket to wear while cycling in the mid 30's. The jacket is warm and yet it allows for some ventilation. I wear a base layer and a long sleeve jersey underneath. I have not tried it in the rain neither have I removed the sleeves yet. I purchased and returned 3 jackets prior to buying this one. The material is soft yet sturdy and the fit is figure flattering. I'm 5' 7'', 135 lbs and the medium fits perfectly with 2 layers underneath. I highly recommend it.

great jersey
I love the style and design, its beautiful - I sized up, b/c of other posters comments, but would have been fine in my usual (bought a large, usually wear a medium), so I found the sizing to be true, not small (I wear an 8 in regular shirts). The fabric is a lighter weight than others I have, so best for hot days.

I am 5'6 and 130 lbs, not fat at all and in good physical shape. I usually wear a medium in most sporting clothes. I could barely get this over my shoulders. Quality is great but order a size larger or you'll be returning it, as I did.
